Our repository is set up using sspi authentication. Users use their network login when using CVS, so I can control access to the repository by assigning access rights on the server directories by network login id. This works for those who I want to give full access, but if I give someone read-only access they still can't access the repository because CVS attempts to write a history and a lock file. Is there an easy way around this or do I just have to give them full access and trust that they're not going to start modifying code?
