Yes, I get different results with different clients on the same sandbox.
Even on a newly checked out sandbox.

At least, the module is checked out, updated or commited, but the warning
appears. It only appears on .history,v. What I did not mention in my
previous mail is, this file does not exist! Neither I've seen this file in
previous respositories, nor has anyone else over here using cvs.

At least, it's not a file from the project. As the history file should be
accessed by cvs itself and looks to me like an incremental file which, under
normal conditions, never loose any data, there is no need for an RCS-archive
at all (similar to val_tags). cvs itself will never delete any entry in
these 2 files.

Olaf,

I just want to make sure I understand the question.  I have had similar
funny issues, but usually they come after I restore a repository from
CD where everything is marked read only.

If you run a 2.0.34 client and a 2.0.41 clinet on the same sandbox, you
get different results?
