Hi, I have installed CVSNT 2.0.51 in a windows 2000 standalone server, which is not connected to any domain.I am using wincvs 1.2 as GUI client. I created a directory called cvsrepo in D:\ and copied CVSROOT and projects directories copied from another CVSNT server running 1.11.1.3(build62). The projects directory contains the modules in that. 1.To access a module named testmodule what is the repository to be set. 2. When I set the repository root as D:\cvsrepo\projects and set the preferences in the Admin option of Wincvs as :pserver:test1 at 192.168.1.243:\cvsrepo\projects and try to check out the module testmodule , it displays the following error, NEW CVSROOT: :pserver:test1 at 192.168.1.243:\cvsrepo\projects (NT server services) cvs checkout -P testmodule (in directory C:\) cvs [checkout aborted]: Couldn't connect to 192.168.1.243, named pipe error 6 *****CVS exited normally with code 1***** Let me know where I commit mistake.
