Hello, I' ve this revision situation: file1.txt | -----1.1 -----1.2 | -----2.1 And I need to commit a version after revision 1.2, But I wouldn't like to make a branch. I'd like to have the revision 1.3, this depends on how my files are organized. The message I have is: cvs commit -m "no message" -r 1.3 file1.txt /Doc/CM/file1.txt,v <-- file1.txt cvs server: /Doc/CM/NuovoDoc.txt,v: revision 1.3 too low; must be higher than 2.1 cvs server: could not check in NuovoDoc.txt I saw in old topics that this was a problem on resurrecting files. Now this is solved for resurrection. Would it be possible to have in committing files too or you think this is a bad behavior?
