What about E:\ - if they don't have traversal access they can't even see the cvstemp diretory (which is the cause of the 'results may not be correct' - CVS can't determine the correct case of the directory so you can end up with errors, some of them nasty like locking failures). Log in as the user then try to make a directory in E:/cvstemp. It'll probably fail... Tony
