Hi, I added -t -t -t to the server in inetd.conf Got this when I connected to 2401 with telnet # telnet localhost 2401 Trying ::1... telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused Trying 127.0.0.1... PID is 308 # So I removed -t -t -t from inetd.conf an ran it again /etc/inetd.conf looking like this cvspserver stream tcp nowait root /usr/bin/cvs cvs -f --allow-root=/home/cvsroot pserver I found this line in the inetd.conf file so i uncommented this and commented the one I wrote. The result from cvs login is now # cvs -t -t -t login -> Tracelevel set to 3. Looking at your Repository0Name though, you should use: :pserver:kristoffer at pugnax.com:2401:/cvstest I don't know much about BSD though, so I can't help you with the sys specific problems. Others here likely can though. Try running the CVSNT server in debug mode (pass -t -t -t to cvs), e.g. cvs -t -t -t info ... and report what you see.
