Concerning the InnoSetup installer, all I do is that I use the Innosetup script that is available in the CVSNT source tree in CVS (the one used before the change to MSI). Then I download the binaries without installer zipfile from CVSNT and point the InnoSetup script to use these files to create the setup. I did not modify it in any other way than to repoint the source files to where I unpacked the downloaded file with the binaries. It is interesting this thing with the MFC71U.dll, I will look to see if it is included in the Inno script or not and if it is missing I will add it so it will be installed properly. Maybe it has something to do with the operating system ? As we are on the same network, I suppose reverse DNS has nothing to do with the slowness I was experiencing. But... installation was not as easy as 1,2,3 I first used the Innosetup Bo made. Everything installed fine but the control pannel refuse to open. MFC71U.dll is missing. I then installed using the MSI. First installation simply failed to install the cvsnt service. After reboot, I had to Repair the installation then everything worked fine. For the 'fun', I copied MFC71U.dll in windows\system32 and then retry with Bo innosetup. Now it is ok and everything is fine, even the control pannel that was lying about the fact service was not installed was resolved. So another computer, another OS, no more problem. Might this be due to the OS (old NT4 was on my previous computer). Did someone installed CvsNT 2.0.62.1817 on that old OS and did it work fine ? Sebastien
