Personally, I think it would be a bad idea to remove the Base directory. I treat the CVS folder as sacrosanct - if I touch it outside "normal channels" (in other words, using the normal cvs commands or cvs GUI interface), I risk damaging my sandbox such that I can't re-integrate it with the repository. -- Rick Genter Principal Engineer Silverlink Communications <mailto:rgenter at silverlink.com> (781) 272-3080 x242 -----Original Message----- From: cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org [mailto:cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org] On Behalf Of Merrill Cornish Sent: Wednesday, January 19, 2005 10:37 AM To: Bo Berglund; cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook Subject: RE: [cvsnt] CVS/Base Directory? Bo, This was all done some time ago, but I've just now noticed the Base directory. So, I don't remember the original command sequence. On the other hand, I think you've answered my question as to whether I can get rid of it--I can.
