Hi Tony (and anyone else) We are running CVSNT 2.0.51d on both client and server and we are having problems with the lockserver. The server is a 2,8 GHz Xeon (with hyperthreading) running Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition. No AV software. Pserver and SSPI connections The LockServer sometimes starts to use a LOT of CPU power (reported as 50% since the CPU is hyperthreaded) and everything gets extremely slow. But there will be progress (a tag operation finished after 43 hours this weekend - when everything is ok, the same operation finishes in 5-10 minutes) The problem seems to be triggered when several branch/tag operations are running at the same time. My questions are: 1) Is this a known bug? 2) Is it fixed in newer versions of cvsnt? 3) Is there any information I can get you to help you find out what is happening 4) I think I have heard that you can telnet to the lockserver to get some status info about what is happening - hoe to do that and what should I look for in the output? 5) Any other ways to get info about the lockservers behaviour? I hope you can give me some clues as is a very big problem for us Regards Morten Jøhnk
