Yes.

This is guaranteed to work per. MSDN specs, and is required for certain 
types of application to work (including CVSNT).

Anything that breaks that is just plain broken.  Norton works OK so 
that's not the issue.

Have you looked at cvsdiag or run WinsockXPFix?
