Thank you very much for your answer Tony. Sorry about my ignorance, but I'm not an expert in all this stuff. 1. Is sspi as secure as ssh? 2. I think I have already made sshd work in the WIN2K computer (got the instructions here: http://pigtail.net/LRP/printsrv/cygwin-sshd.html), the thing is, I need to tell CVSNT to work with SSH, how do I do that? Thanks in advance Juan Carlos Message: 7 Date: Thu, 14 Jul 2005 03:11:22 +0100 From: Tony Hoyle <tony.hoyle at march-hare.com> Subject: [cvsnt] Re: Setting up CVSNT with SSH To: cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook Message-ID: <db4hl0$9c8$1 at paris.nodomain.org> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Juan Carlos Becerra Irene wrote: > I'm trying to setup CVSNT 2.5.01 on a Win2K machine. > I've run CVSNT with pserver in the past, the client I use is TortoiseCVS. IMO you're better off saving yourself the hassle and using sspi. ssh is great for Unix as it comes bundled with it but is a pain in the butt to get working for NT. > Does anybody know where can I find some material about this topic?, I have > found a lot of references of CVSNT and SSH, all of them say that is possible > to make it work, but none of them say *how*. Ask around on the cygwin sites... setting up their sshd should be mentioned there. Tony
