I have noted a strange behaviour in CVS lately that I did not see
before:
When updating a module *all* files are listed with the U prefix and
the timestamp of the files are moved up to Now() even though the file
itself has not changed at all either in the repository or locally.

All revision numbers stay the same as before. I can even do repeated
updates and every single one of them causes the file list with the U
prefix and timestamp change.

Why does this happen?
I am using a CVSROOT as :sspi:user at server:/Repo because on this laptop
the login does not match the server I am using. I use WinCvs version
2.0.0.1 Build 1.
The CVSNT specifics are:
Client: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.5.01 (Travis) Build 2013
(client/server)
Server: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.0.38 (client/server)

Is this a known problem with the client (build 2013) or where do I
start looking?

Note that if I switch back WinCvs to using the old CVSNT (that I have
saved on my laptop) the old correct behaviour returns where the files
are *not* touched and *not* listed in the update process:

Client: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.0.41a (client/server)
Server: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.0.38 (client/server)
