Hi There, Having a teething problem and the mobilefish tutorial seems to be based on an earlier version; hope someone can point me in the right direction. Anyway I have just installed CVSNT server (2.5.01 Travis Build 1976) to an upto-date XP Pro box. Also I am currently connecting to it with a pair of machines running TortoiseCVS clients (again latest version 1.8.18). When I try and access the server when "Server Settings / Run as user" is set to [client user]" , tortoiseCVS reports an error writing to c:\cvstemp\XYZXYZ. If I change "Server Settings / Run as user" to SERVERNAME\Administrator" everything works fine however there appears to be no authentication and hence no security. The guide mentions adding ACL permissions to /cvstemp for 'system' so perhaps i need to do this but I'm not sure how this is done under XP-Pro rather than NT/2000. Thanks for any advice.
