Glen, I have always wondered about the cvs history command. In no way is it possible for me to get anything but the reply as the following example shows: cvs history -T -a -n ADM/FrameWorkCenter ***** CVS exited normally with code 0 ***** No records selected. It doesn't matter if I enter a modules file module name or a physical module name. On 100% of my attempts earlier and also now the response is "No records selected"... I determined long ago that cvs history was a command that did simply not work at all and since I could get my info in other ways I just discarded it. But now thta you brought it up again I decided to test but with the same dismal result. Did you actually get some output from this command? /Bo -----Original Message----- From: cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org [mailto:cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org]On Behalf Of Glen Starrett Sent: den 9 juni 2005 00:52 To: cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook Subject: [cvsnt] Re: URGENT: Need to reconstruct sparse tag Bryce Schober wrote: > I have a respository filesystem tree that was tagged from a corrupted > working copy which resulted in many files / subdirectories missing > from the tag. I see you already figured out how to solve your immediate problem, but FYI I figured out you can get the time a tag was placed with the history command. cvs history -T -a -n ModuleName -- Glen Starrett _______________________________________________ cvsnt mailing list cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook http://www.cvsnt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cvsnt https://www.march-hare.com/cvspro/en.asp#downcvs
