Well, that was it. Turns out I was mistaken, my co-worker did not have the same password on the server as on his workstation. As soon as he reset his password on the server he was able to gain access. We are now happily cvs'ing away. And planning to bring the cvs server into our workstation domain. Thanks so much for your help! Then I'm very surprised indeed that it works for either of you - I've had little success with any workgroup access in Windows unless each user has the same password on all machines in the workgroup. > Yep, this is a workgroup environment. Are you planning on moving to a domain environment at all, seeing as you have a nice juicy Win2K server sat there? - Peter
