Are your referring to the thread "[cvsnt] Binary files are modified on commit"? That thread does not seem to lead lead to a solution. The discussion occurred in March, while the stable build I am using is dated May, I presume that such an issue is treated with high priority and a fix should appear as soon as possible. Also the thread is about "import" and MacCVS. I am using update and WinCVS, although I do not know if this affects anything. Please help me locate the fix if one is available as the repository cannot be trusted as it is right now. Should I switch to the latest Release Candidate? Note that I do not have the resources to set up a test repository and do extensive testing so I prefer to upgrade to stable builds as a general rule. Tony, do you recall fixing this problem? The history page mentions "Fix problem with deleting then resurrecting binary files" in build 1969 (the stable version that I am using); can this be related? -- Kevin Agius "Bo Berglund" <Bo.Berglund at system3r.se> wrote in message news:mailman.157.1118734145.321.cvsnt at cvsnt.org... This was discussed earlier. Been solved but don't know the actual build when the fix was done. /Bo -----Original Message----- From: cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org [mailto:cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org]On Behalf Of Kevin Sent: den 14 juni 2005 08:06 To: cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook Subject: [cvsnt] BUG: Corrupted binary files Update a binary file on a branch. Check it out and compare the files, they are different. The file is committed as binary with the '-kb' option . This does not happen on all files. I did not test on HEAD. When the bug was detected I was using CVSNT version 2.5.01.1927, then I upgraded to the latest stable build 2.5.01.1969, the problem persists. Does the latest release candidate (build 1976) solve this problem? I can submit an RCS file that exhibits the problem if it helps. Thanks for your concern. -- Kevin Agius _______________________________________________ cvsnt mailing list cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook http://www.cvsnt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cvsnt https://www.march-hare.com/cvspro/en.asp#downcvs
