I seem to remmber something similar discussed relatively recently but I cannot find it again. Anyway, it didn't seem important to me back then but now I've been hit by it and I'm definitely annoyed... This is a pretty common scenario for me: I create a branch for trying some experimental stuff and in starting to do so make changes that I realize could go straight to the trunk instead. Thus I simply reset the sticky branch tag on those modified files, commit to the trunk, move the branch tag to the new HEAD and update back to the branch. I just had to do this again and found that CVSNT would no longer reset the sticky tag on modified files. Is this intentional? If so, how could I turn it off again?! I just upgraded my client binary to 2.5.01.1997 before doing this but couldn't say when was the last time this worked. No more than a one or two weeks I think... The server is still 2.0.51d .
