I have verified through a DOS batch file that indeed the perl script is outputting an errorlevel (nonzero). There is a flaw in the CVSNT code. Please advise. I have an entry: ALL C:\\PERL\\BIN\\PERL.EXE -S C:\\SCRIPTS\\TAG.PL in taginfo. The CVS server runs the script, and one can see the output. Two things seem broke: 1. The CVSNT server ignores an exit ( 1 ); perl command. It passes the tag anyway. 2. The CVSNT server inserts a blank line in the output every other line. For example on #2: On my Linux CVS server: Authenticating Tag ------------------- User BLAH Tag BLAH ------------------- on the Windows CVSNT server Authenticating Tag ------------------- User Blah Tag Blah ------------------- These things are stopping me from a complete changeover to CVSNT. Please help. There seems to be NO documentation on taginfo.
