According to the Cederqvist
(https://www.cvshome.org/docs/manual/cvs-1.11.19/cvs_16.html#IDX226 or
http://www.cvsnt.org/manual/html/Common-options.html#id2547113)...
"HEAD refers to the most recent version available in the repository,
and BASE refers to the revision you last checked out into the current
working directory."

Something entirely different then I should think. On top of that,
something I couldn't really come up with a sane use for off the top of
my head...
