Hopefully someone can help with the correct way to change a file which has been incorrected added to the repository as a Text File into a Binary file. I have tried > cvs update -k-t "filename" > cvs commit and that changed the file locally but when I re-checked out from the repository the file cam eback as text. I also tried > cvs update -kb "filename" > cvs commit and that had the same effect of making the file binary locally,but when I re-created my sandbox the file was still text. Also tried cvs admin -kb "filename" but that returns a message bout it not affecting future checkins and to use cvs update/cvs commit. Can someone please tell me how to change a filetype in the repository.
