Glen, Thanks for the quick reply. I was aware of issues between the old setup and the new msi based one, so I uninstalled cvs 2.0.51c before loading the latest one. I did not reboot between uninstalling the old one and the new one however, but I did reboot after loading the new one. Is there something that could be setup wrong? I can run a cvs version command on the server and it responds fine. But on any client running 2.0.62.1817 or older, I'm getting the invalid lockserver error. If you uninstall the innosetup version then reinstall the recent version it will straighten out the problem. Note that it's not normally necessary to uninstall the old version first. Also note that Bo still maintains the innosetup version and has a separate download for it, if you prefer that installer. -- Glen Starrett _______________________________________________ cvsnt mailing list cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook http://www.cvsnt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cvsnt https://www.march-hare.com/cvspro/en.asp#downcvs ------------------------------------- This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
