Hi all I am new to cvsnt and wincvs...and this is my first post We have a cvs server that is exposed to the internet. From what I read, I gather that SSPI is the recommded protocol to access this cvs server from outside our LAN over the internet. The pre-requisites are: 1) Disable pserver by deleting the pserver_protocol.dll from the server 2) Open the firewall port 2401 and aim it towards your internal CVSNT server. My question is: 1) How do i set up the users and restrict only those users to acess this cvs server over the internet(wincvs is the clinet used). for ex::sspi:user at server:/repository (server must be the firewall IP address in this case) In this case what is the 'user' and how and where to create it? What about the password for the above user. The remote user is not on our domain. 2) If I do the above can i still acess the cvs server over LAN using my system login details and allow only some users on the LAN to access this CVS server? Will somebody plz give me the details how to set up this? --------------------------------- Yahoo! Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Try it free.
