This email intrigued me, so I felt inclined to check it out. If I have a group entry like so (in CVSROOT/group): fakegroup: fred and run a chacl command in module test like so: cvs chacl -a none -u fakegroup -R and then run: cvs lsacl I see: user=fakegroup none So it looks like it worked. But if I log in as fred, cvs behaves as though I'm not in the acl at all. What gives? It does the same if I say "noread, nowrite, notag, nocreate, nocontrol". Brian p.s. Still using 2.5.02.2099... I thought CVSNT was just "reusing" the NT groups like it is "reusing" the NT users... > so you can restrict to groups using the same syntax. I suspect it was a test case error. I had not re-logged in after adding myself to the group I was testing with. I just tried again with a different group that I was already I member of and it worked just fine. So, just forget I said anything. ;) Cheers, -- Oliver ---- ------------------ JID: ogiesen at jabber.org ICQ: 18777742 (http://wwp.icq.com/18777742) _______________________________________________ cvsnt mailing list cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook http://www.cvsnt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cvsnt https://www.march-hare.com/cvspro/en.asp#downcvs
