[...] So - to answer your 'why on earth would anyone want to run that' question, that mail message sets up Eclipse users to expect later versions not to work and to have to revert to the specified earlier version. If we have evidence that more recent versions do, in fact, work correctly with Eclipse, then perhaps we should document that very clearly and try to make sure it shows up in a search of the archives in at least as prominent a place as that email message. Or, given that this question comes up entirely too frequently, we could put a very prominent 'here's how to get it working with Eclipse' on one of the main CVSNT pages... - Peter
