Thanks Arthur, After upgrading the gcc package to 3.4 I was able to compile CVSNT on Solaris 8. After performing the make install, I tried to create the package using the script available in Solaris folder within the distribution folder. It created the package, but the size of the folder is just 3 Kb. I suspect something is wrong. Does anybody have any clue for the process of creating the package? If anyone already has complied CVSNT on Solaris please let provide a link with the created package.
