I run CVSNT 2.5.03 on a Window 2003 server, within a domain. The server ask the users to change password every 30 days. When a user change the password on a machine within the domain, no problem. Some users are using portable PCs that came with Windows XP Home installed, and cannot join the domain, obviusly - anyway I think it could happen with any PC not in the domain, but did not test it. They use CVSNT via sspi performing a cvs login. When they have changed the domain password and attempt to perform an operation on CVS, they get the error "Error reading from server <server name>: -1 Unknown error", I believe because the login is no longer valid. After another succesful cvs login, everything works. I understand the problem, but could the error be made more informative? -- Luigi D. Sandon
