Hi Flávio thx for the quick answere. The port is 22. My CVSNT version is 2.0.51d. I tried it on command level with the command: cvs -d :ssh:username at cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/mediaportal checkout mediaportal without success. I started the command and then nothing happens. Regards, Manfred "Flávio Etrusco" <flavio.etrusco at gmail.com> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:mailman.827.1139054750.17086.cvsnt at cvsnt.org... SSH port is 22 (i guess you mistyped the open ports on your router?). Port 443 is SSL. This CVSROOT should work then: :ssh:username at cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/mediaportal If it doesn't, please report your CVSNT version (type 'cvs -version' in the console. There must be some way to find it inside WinCVS, but I don't use this usability nightmare) Regards, Flávio On 2/4/06, Bavarian <a.Bavarian at gmx.de> wrote: > The configuration I am using: > - WinXP SP2 > - Siemens SX541 router (open ports: 20, 21, 21, 2400, 2401) > - WinCVS 2.0.2.4 > > My Problem: > I am trying with > CVSROOT::ssh:myusername at cvs-ssh.sourceforge.net:443:/cvsroot/mediaportal > in > WinCVS to check out the sources.
