The first part of your message describes you setting up for pserver or sserver usage. Then you disable pserver... So how do you think this is going to work? First specify pserver users and then close down pserver. And what do you mean by "obtaining repository" You might get some ideas here: http://web.telia.com/~u86216177/InstallCVSNT25.html Best regards, Bo Berglund -----Original Message----- From: cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org [mailto:cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org] On Behalf Of Eugenio Lysei Junior Sent: den 13 februari 2006 15:37 To: cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook Subject: [cvsnt] Help with "unrecognized auth response" Hi, I've installed and am running CVSNT 2.5.03 (Scorpio) Build 2151 on WinXP Pro. Created one Win user and added it to CVS using cvs passwd -a -D <MYDOMAIN> -r <xpuser> <xpuser> After created repository (C:/cvsrepo) and temp (c:/cvstemp) dir, assigned full control on them to xpuser SYSTEM and Admin have same control over dirs. Disabled pserver. But when trying to Obtain repository using TortoiseCVS I get an "unrecognized auth response". Have already browsed many lists, but there's no solution different that what I have done. Have anyone some light on this, please? Thanks in advance. -- Eugenio Lysei Junior lyseie at gmail.com _______________________________________________ cvsnt mailing list cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook http://www.cvsnt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cvsnt https://www.march-hare.com/cvspro/en.asp#downcvs
