Thanks. Maybe i didn't explain myself too well. If user A set a watch on a file and user B does something (every kind of edit, unedit, lock, commit), if i used the notify script user A gets an email warning that user B is doing something on that file. Otherwise, with notify_email user A gets an email only if user B does commit the file, not for other operations. And this is the difference. Furthermore, i was asking if it was possible to set user A as the receiver, since by using the [user] variable in the template it's user B (the one who does the commit) who gets the email. By looking at the reference guide, there's no variable mentioning the watching user, user A. I hope to have been clear.
