I don't know how you managed to let the service run as Administrator since that is not part of the control panel options. It is also non-standard and I would advice to let the service run as installed (under the LOCALSYSTEM account) and configure everything before starting to experiment with these advanced settings. In order to switch the service logon to another accnt you will need to tweak a lot of other system policies etc to make it work and that is not part of my tutorial since it is discouraged from the start. If for some reason you need to do this then you need expert help that I cannot provide. Go to the CVSNT list and ask in that case. Bo Berglund -----Original Message----- From: Peter F. Added the current user (Administrator) to passwd. Actually made it work by entering the system password for Administrator. I have now added the two users: Peter and Lasse, but for both of them I am getting the error: ---- C:\Documents and Settings\PEFF>cvs login Logging in to :pserver:Peter at ffcvs:2401:/Boldspil CVS password: ***** Fatal error, aborting. cvs [login aborted]: cvsuser: Switch to user failed due to configuration error. Contact your System Administrator. ---- Both with Peter aliased to cvsuser and with Peter as a local account. Run as user is (client user) and service is running as Administrator. Have you any advice? I am getting desperate ;-) ==> Don't do this! The services should run in the localsystem account!
