Siegfried, The MySQL client is a dependency of the audit database trigger. CVSNT triggers require the mysql client 3.23 not 4.0/4.1, the simplest way to get this is with the shared client "compatible" support. http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/linux-rpm.html Eg: rpm -I MySQL-shared-compat-VERSION.i386.rpm If you are not going to enable the auditing the you can install the CVSNT rpm with "--nodeps" option. I have updated the FAQ. Where islibmysqlclient.so? I'm trying to follow the instructions at http://www.march-hare.com/cvspro/faq/faq6.asp for installing cvsnt on SuSE 10. Since SuSE uses RPM, I assume I download the Red Hat version of cvsnt. I've unpacked the files and when I type "rpm -i cvsnt-database-mysql-2.5.02.2088-1.386.rpm" it says it cannot find libmysqlclient.so. So I went to YaST and installed mysql but this did not seem to help. I'm surprised the linux version needs a database. The windows implementation did not need a database. Anyway, how do I install this on SuSE?
