I'm talking about the -T *option*, not the -T *global option*.

The -T option only applies when cvsnt is *displaying* the time (and the OP
was talking about the time not being *shown*), so:
cvs ls -T ...
cvs log -T ...

(cvs history is different, use -z option... see cvs -H history for info)
