Is it happening on the client or server? On the server run cvsdiag and look at its report. Finally: Please supply at least a minimum of information when asking on the list! - server and client operating systems - server and client CVSNT versions including build numbers - Connection string used (aka CVSROOT) - actual command executed - Exact error messages shown - Output of cvsdiag Most of the above can be done as copies of a command window cvs session so that correct data are supplied.
