I primarily use CVS instead of CVSNT, however, I have some applications where TortoiseCVS is expecially useful. In setting up some TortoiseCVS usage, I started to run into trouble doing things that I do with my Linux CVS client. To try to prove it was not a TortoiseCVS issue, I tried some commands using the cvs.exe that is packed in with TortoiseCVS. If I should be asking on the TortoiseCVS list, please feel free to let me know, but this seems to be a CVSNT question. Using cvs, I can easily checkout a module to my current working directory with: $ cvs -d /home/eden/nsm-mnc co -d . GUI-VCL/release.txt U ./release.txt $ It appears that CVSNT has trouble with this: H:\tmp>c:\progra~1\tortoi~1\cvs -d ":ssh:kbulgrien at arendi.vertexrsi.net:/home/ed en/nsm-mnc" co -d . GUI-VCL\release.txt U GUI-VCL/release.txt H:\tmp> Instead of checking out the module to the current working directory, it has been checked out into a subdirectory. What concept might I be missing?
