Hi, I'm in the process of upgrading the PC for our CVSNT server. Everything seems to be working ok, except when I update from one branch to another, I get the following error: cvs version Client: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.0.41a (client/server) Server: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.5.04 (Zen) Build 2471 (client/server) cvs update -P -A -- testfile.txt (in directory C:\Test\newrepo\cvstest\) P testfile.txt cvs update: checksum failure after patch to ./testfile.txt; will refetch cvs client: refetching unpatchable files U testfile.txt cvs update -P -r Release_1 -- testfile.txt (in directory C:\Test\newrepo\cvstest\) P testfile.txt cvs update: checksum failure after patch to ./testfile.txt; will refetch cvs client: refetching unpatchable files U testfile.txt It works ok if I use the old server. cvs version Client: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.0.58d (client/server) Server: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.0.51d (client/server) cvs update -P -A -- testfile.txt (in directory C:\Test\cvstest\) P testfile.txt The repository files on the new server (WinXP Pro) were simply copied over from the old server (Win 2K). Is there any configuration settings I need to change? Or is it something else? Rgds, Andy -- Andy Harrison - Platform Software Engineer Anite Telecoms Ltd.
