Wrong list. This list is about the CVSNT *server* and not about the WinCvs GUI frontend to CVS. Furthermore WinCvs version numbers do not look like the one you have stated, they are in the form 2.0.3.1 etc. For your information WinCvs is a Windows *application* and will not run at all in a Linux machine. Maybe you are referring to the CVSNT server that WinCvs has been connecting to???? I do not think it is possible to backport a CVSNT repository to GNU CVS because GNU CVS does not support many of the new features introduced by CVSNT. However, why should you even consider installing *GNU* CVS on a Linux machine???? CVSNT *server* runs also on Linux machines, just install the latest CVSNT versionm for Linux and then move the repository files over to that machine and you are ready to go. Notice that the CVSNT developer maintans his CVSNT sources in a CVSNT server installed on a Linux machine!!! Debian 3.1R2 platform. 1. What is best way to approach this migration? 2. Will there be any incompatiblity problems with this migration? Will developers still be able to use their WinCVS to connect to the linux server?
