All; I am trying to define a template form for all commits. Here is what I did: Edit rcsinfo to point to the template file I used the DEFAULT keyword so that all modules will use the same template. Make sure template file is in repository/CVSROOT dir edit the verifymsg file to call validation script. Use the DEFAULT keyword again. Commit rcsinfo and verifymsg. Checkout module and make a change. Then do a cvs commit <filename> but I get the same default template as always. I don't get my form. I also tried to do this with winCVS and the commit dialog would not let me select to use template for log message. It kept saying "Template file not found. You need to setup Template using rcsinfo file." I did that. Here is what I have in rcsinfo: DEFAULT hostname\\repo2\\CVSROOT\\my.template and my.template does exist in that location. My CVSNT version is 2.5.03 Build 2382 My client and server are Win XP Pro.
