Hi, I'm trying to set up commit notifications using commit_email, as described in the manual. As per instructions, I added the line: cvs-test CVSROOT/commit_email_template to the commit_email file. I also added commit_email_template to CVSROOT/checkoutlist, and checked the whole thing in. When I try to commit to the cvs-test directory, though, I get an error: commit_email: Template file 'CVSROOT/commit_email_template' does not exist. I've logged onto the server, and verified that $CVSROOT/CVSROOT/commit_email_template does, in fact, exist. I tried using a backslash ('cvs-test CVSROOT\commit_email_template'), but still no go. By trial and error, I discovered that if I move the template file out of CVSROOT, it works fine. Is this a bu^H^H undocumented feature? I'd rather keep the template files in the CVSROOT directory (and indeed, that's where the manual implies they should be).
