Shawn, > I'm trying to learn about Commit Identifiers (and CVSNT). I'm using > TortoiseCVS as the client for a local CVSNT server. > > Other than running a command line cvs status for one of the files > committed, I do not see where to locate the identifier for > the commit. Log shows it, therefore the tortoise "history log" (and maybe "revision graph" in the latest 10.x releases) should show it. I may have too simplisitc saying this is the correct forum (versus the info-cvs one). If the question is about commit id's, cvsnt server or cvsnt client then this is the correct place. If you are specifically interested in the TortoiseCVS graphical display of such information then the tcvs newsgroup (it's listed on the tortoisecvs.org web site) is the best place. Regards, Arthur
