What I thought prior was that testuser account cvs doesn't - that's the point - it asks the system for login credentials and enforces the restrictions on that account. Make sure that testuser can for example read a network drive on the server. As Bo mentioned, using pserver on a purely windows environment is probably not worth it - just use sspi and treat it like any other network service. Tony
