Hi. I keep all the documentation and tools for a project in CVS. Most of the files are binary (Word, Excel, Apps, .pdf ...). After almost 2 years of usage I got now 8 files which are corrupted. 6 .exe, 1 .xls and 1 .rtf. All files were added with -kb (binary, no compress, keywords disabled ...), cvs status recognizes them, I can print out their history, log etc. I just cannot checkout or update the dir to have the latest (or any) version in the sandbox. ------ Q:\ProjectTools\XY-Distribution\XY-6.0>cvs update -A . cvs server: Updating . cvs [update aborted]: writing ./AppServerSetup.exe: Invalid argument ------ After this I get the file _new_AppServerSetup.exe which has the right size, but the content is corrupted (content is right size - but only hex00). What can I do to prevent this from happening again? Is there any tool to check the integrity of the repo? Why and how this happend at all? Best regards, Aleksander
