Hi David,

So ur trying to know which tool like tortoise cvs is available on
linux, You can use smartcvs, lincvs, gcvs or cervisia for accessing
windows repositories from linux.

For convenience it depends what authentication mechanism ur using on
windows for ex pserver, sspi etc...
