Then you are paying for support from them - contact them instead. The developers of CVS and CVSNT have made their opinion of these technologies very clear. CVS was originally written over 20 years ago when wide area networks were far slower and less reliable than they are today - meaning that multi site solutions are almost never required to solve performance or network reliability issues. If you ask on the open source CVS or CVSNT newsgroups you will find there are several regular contributors there who have thousands of users accross multiple sites and have no need of any replication and merging solutions (or at most use free open source ones). CVSNT 2.5.04 has repository proxy (multi site) code included - this was written specifically to counteract propaganda by some organisations that have a vested commercial interest in selling repository replication. Even though 2.5.04 now contains this code - it is almost never required to resolve multi site issues. The companies propagating this myth that commercial multi site code is required provide nothing whatsoever back to the community which writes CVSNT (and I've been told by the CVS folks that the same is true for them) - your money would be much better spent on purchasing commercial support for CVSNT from the developers who write CVSNT - at least that way you are sure that the project that has provided you with reliable version control for years will still be funded - and you'd get an engineer on the phone to resolve your tagging issue.
