Hi all- I have been using CVSNT for about a year now, using WinCVS as a client, and also a tool that integrates CVS into Visual Studio 2005. I am no expert, and am just starting to use branches. I have an issue that's been driving me nuts as I try to branch off a Release branch: I got a message that there was some issue with some of the files (don't recall the exact wording), and the Branch command failed. I then saw some very strange behavior, where some of the files in my sandbox were deleted. At this point, I re-created the files in the sandbox from a backup, and attempted to Commit them. I got the following error message: "could not find parsed rcsfile". Google and Yahoo turned up nothing useful on that error. In looking at the files in the repository, I see that the "[...],v" file is there, and a quick look in a text editor indicates that it's OK. Several attempts to Remove the file and replace it from the backup ran into the same error. At this point, I am stuck, and I really need to ship the software yesterday. I would prefer to have a Release branch so I can continue development on another branch. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am running CVSNT 2.5.03 and WinCVS 2.0.2.4 on a Windows XP box; the errors are the same whether I connect from that box or from my laptop with Vista Business. They also occur when I use the tool that integrates into Visual Studio 2005, which is found at this website: http://www.pushok.com/soft_cvs.php TIA, Andrew Cushen
