Stefano, you don't tell CVS if a file is binary or not when you commit - you do it when you add/import the file. *nix has the "file" command that returns the file type checking the file content - don't know if you can use it in a trigger to force the binary flag when adding a file. Anyway, automatic detection can fail. WinCVS already has an internal check you can activate on import to check the type of files being added - it's not 100% perfect. -- Luigi D. Sandon
