Without knowing your exact error, it's hard to be sure.  But what you're 
probably running into is the file on the server is too large.  Each time 
you commit a binary, it stores the entire thing as a full blob on  the 
server (unless you use -kB).  Check out the size of the file on the 
server; if it's over 500 MB then this is likely your problem.
