Anyway you're sure both are running build 62 then we can discount any problems there. The only thing you're doing differently to what I would expect is the cvs edit/unedit, which I wouldn't expect to modify the rcs file (especially not that drastically), but it's something worth looking at. > Now I will really feel bad when it turns out to be something on my side :-/ You're the third person in about two years to report something similar (the second was only a few weeks ago, via bugzilla). Unfortunately I've not been able to find anything common about the cases. Clutching at straws... Windows version/Language, processor, etc.? Tony
