Hi Tony, > That's 'cvs -v' :-) 'cvs version' gives both the client and server > versions (just in case). Anyway you're sure both are running build 62 > then we can discount any problems there. Silly me :-) I didn't know that command... Just for the record though: Client: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 1.11.1.3 (Build 62) (client/server) Server: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 1.11.1.3 (Build 62) (client/server) But, like I've mentioned, we switched to the new clients when we started having problems. So maybe the old client (from WinCVS 1.3.8.1 beta 8 build 1) f*cked something up?: Client: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 1.11.1.3 (Build 57a) (client/server) Server: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 1.11.1.3 (Build 62) (client/server) > Clutching at straws... Windows version/Language, processor, etc.? Server: Win2KServer US, dual processor (I think 2x Xeon833 = P2's?) Clients: WinXPPro US, Pentium4; Win2KPro US, Pentium2 Everybody's using NTFS. I'm currently testing with a similar file and executing the version-increment-batch-file many times, but the "h,v" is not getting corrupted.. Which is good, I guess :-/ I'm testing with both the new (62) and old (57a) client, but I can't reproduce it... I guess I'll wait and see if it happens again... L. PS. Is it safe to 'just' delete any old revisions in a ,v file? begin 666 cvstest.zip M4$L#!!0``@`(`&B#A"W:A&>HQP```#L!```+````8W9S=&5S="YB871UCD]+ MPT 4Q.^!?(>AEU[LAB!BO15""J6(D)9X#-O-JUE(WK/[1\1/[VI04/0V;QXS MO]F0&03">99G37T/\^(%UB,,!!E[+!\M5^T!I;I6:U7B1$%CC5.TZ5DN849+ M'*YFX^96SRT#O3YK[F$TIP3.$M,AC(-$9V at K[HD44_B ?@)7;W>@W at 8DU)%\ MV-J1U)!G7ST_;'0AZ?.LBPL*AVIWW'?50U-W;=V at B+][OB%&IBEA5A,6+3EO MTZ8=&T?:4[_X-Q7YKW'O4$L#!
