Hi,

Really need help on this,

When editing a file with cvs edit -z option it seems that the compressed
.gz
file in the base directory is created corrupt.

When running unedit I get the message:
cvs [unedit aborted]: expansion error (Z_FINISH): (-5)(null)

When testing the .gz file with gnu gzip (and winzip) I get the message
gzip: build.xml.gz: unexpected end of file

I've tested several files, many but not all get this behaviour.
I'm running Tortoise 1.6.5 (and 1.6.4) and have tested cvsnt 2.0.26,
2.0.33 and 2.0.34, all experiencing the same problem.
OS is WinXP pro with all MS patches.

I'm running Norton autoprotect (and have to) but has tested
with it disabled with the same results.

Edit without -z option works fine, but since I'm using
TortoiseCVS this is a major problem.

I'm really cluesless at this point and don't want to give up using
Tortoise/CVSNT.

Regards

Mikael
