There should be a library (pserver_protocol.so probably) in your cvs library path (which is probably /usr/local/lib/cvsnt). To diagnose is on the HPUX box try: $ cvs -t :pserver:localhost version You should get some output from it showing the protocol loading. -> Tracelevel set to 1. PID is 6246 -> Session ID is 1866404ca9a97fa2 -> Loading protocol /usr/local/lib/cvsnt/pserver_protocol As I don't have access to an HPUX box I've no idea if anyone's got CVSNT to actually work on it... I'd be interested to know if it's possible though. Tony
